I couldn’t let the day go by without paying tribute to O’Brien of Wanderley Wagon fame.

Eugene Lambert died today at the age of 82.

He was an integral part of the Lambert Puppet Theatre and was a ‘star’ of the Irish children’s programme ‘Wanderley Wagon’ which aired during my childhood.

I’m a Firefox man myself!

Though I would consider myself a little more than interested in technology I have to say that I’ve never been interested in Facebook, Twitter, MySpace or any of the other social networking pretenders out there.

Reading this article about people telling the world that they will be out and that their house will be vacant for any opportunistic thief has confirmed my dis-interest.
