Bullying – nothing changes!

Bullying – repeated aggression – verbal, psychological or physical
A survey by the Educational Research Centre has found that almost half of 15 year olds are experiencing some form of bullying in Ireland’s schools.
43% of the 4,500 pupils involved in the research said they were bullied.
Bullying ranged from name calling to being physically hurt. The report showed that girls and boys were equally affected by bullying. The type of school had no impact on the findings. Bullying was equally prevalent in fee-paying schools, disadvantaged schools, mixed schools and single-sex schools.
